HSPS P&C Welcome BBQ 2012

Join us for the HSPS P&C first event for the year, the Welcome BBQ for 2012.

The Welcome BBQ is held in conjunction with the Hurstville SOuth Public School's information sessions on the 22nd February 2012.

The BBQ begin at 4:45pm for parents with children in K-2 (info session between 5:00pm - 5:30pm), and for parents with children in year 3 - 6, the BBQ begins at 5:30pm (info session between 5:45pm - 6:15pm).

Come down and say hi and have a chat to the HSPS P&C team. Find out what we do and what we have planned for 2012. Give us any suggestions and ideas you may have. Let us know how you can help out in 2012 to support Hurstville South Public School.

Legend of the Frederick

The HSPS P&C ended a brilliant 2011 at HSPS with the end of year Movie Night at Greater Union, Hurstville. Not only were we treated to the fantastic movie "Puss in Boots", we also manage to surprise Mrs Frederick with a movie trailer of our own... "The Legend of the Frederick".

Thank you for all the kids, teachers and staff for helping with the recording of the video. Who would have thought it was possible to keep a surprise from the Principal with the involvement of 400 kids and the full teaching and support staff.

Mrs Frederick got a great surprising seeing the video for the first time at the Movie Night on the big screen with the video disguised as a trailer.

Mrs Frederick will be missed by the HSPS students, teachers, staff, parents and P&C. We wish you the very best in your retirement, and don't be a stranger and come back and visit us sometime.

Entertainment Book - HSPS P&C Fundraising

The Hurstville South Public School P&C are fund raising with the Entertainment Book - a book full of Discount Vouchers with over $15,00 of value in each book. Recent additions to the book are the Italian Job Cafe in Hurstville Grove and Gusto Cafe in Penshurst.

Books are $65.00 each and take up to two weeks for delivery. There is, however, a
limited number of books available immediately for those who get in early.

Winter Uniform Orders

The winter uniform orders will be sent to your child's classroom in the first week of term 2.

For those who are still in need of winter uniform and/or are looking for more items, please come in to the Uniform Shop at the start of term 2 for the new stock of winter uniform (before it runs out).

Library bags are also now back in stock for those who missed out previously.

Election Day BBQ, Cake, Jewellery and Fashion Sale

The Hurstville South Public School will be having a BBQ, Cake, Jewellery and Fashion Sale to tie into the excitement of the NSW election this weekend.
